ABOUT NOISERiSK ® -the tool for risk assessment of noise exposure

• NoiseRisk is developed by OLF (The Norwegian Oil Industry Association) and OHS based on the OLF’s guidelines for work in noisy areas. 

• Using this tool HSE personnel can evaluate the noise exposure without having to calculate the dB. It is also possible to carry out noise mapping.

• NoiseRisk has a specific application which allows the user to download noise data directly to the PSA's (Petroleum Safety Authority) database.

• Presently NoiseRisk is presently only available in Norwegian, but we are working on the English version.

• OHS is responsible for development of the tool
