ChemiRisk / CHESS

OHS and Bureau Veritas have recently entered a joint software development project, to build a new software bridging tool, that allows OHS software "ChemiRisk" and Bureau Veritas software "CHESS", to work together via a common user interface.

Quantum Solutions AS (www.quantumsolutions.no) are currently building a prototype of the new software bridging tool, as proof of concept - working closely with both OHS and Bureau Veritas. Quantum Solutions built ChemiRisk for OHS, and as such have a very strong understanding of the new software development needs to build a new bridging tool between these two well known and world leading chemical software programs.

If all software development and prototyping goes to plan, and proof of concept is achieved and approved, the new software bridging tool is planned to be completed within 2010 - ready for commercial release to both ChemiRisk and CHESS clients once all internal testing has been completed and finally approved.

It is planned that both OHS and Bureau Veritas will then jointly market this new software bridging tool, to allow all ChemiRisk and CHESS clients around the world, to benefit from this common user interface. It is also hoped that this new software bridging tool will stimulate new future sales of both ChemiRisk and CHESS, to clients who currently only have one of these two programs - helping client companies benefit from the strengths of these two leading chemical programs working side-by-side.
